DENTON, Texas (Dec. 29) – The TWU basketball team returns to the hardwood and will ring in the New Year with a pair of Lone Star Conference games this week in Kitty Magee Arena.  The Pioneers host #15 Midwestern State on Thursday, Jan 1, at 7:00 p.m. before taking on Tarleton State on Saturday, Jan. 3, at 2:00 p.m.
 
The team will conduct a free youth basketball clinic immediately following Saturday's game versus Tarleton State.  The clinic will be open to boys and girls in eighth grade and below and will last approximately one-hour.
