DENTON, Texas (Jan. 27) – The TWU basketball team is set for Pack the House IV, which will take place on Wednesday, Jan. 28, when the Pioneers host Texas A&M-Commerce at 7:00 p.m. in Kitty Magee Arena.
The goal of Pack the House IV is to set a new TWU Athletics attendance record. The current record of 1,373 was set at the original Pack the House back on Nov. 11, 2013 in a basketball game vs. Ouachita Baptist.
Admission to Pack the House IV is free to all fans and the first 250 fans through the arena doors will receive a free t-shirt courtesy of BBVA Compass Bank. There will be a free tailgate party
sponsored by the Lutheran Campus Ministry from 5:30-7:00 p.m. in front of Pioneer Hall while supplies last. Numerous drawings will be held at the game including a full Spring 2015 TWU housing scholarship, a $500 Spring 2015 tuition/fees grant, a $200.00 merchandise or book credit at the TWU bookstore, and a $200.00 travel stipend for TWU faculty (sponsored by the Office of the Provost).
The Pioneers will also play a road game this week on Sunday, Feb. 1, at Tarleton State. Tip-off is scheduled for 2:00 p.m. at Wisdom Gym in Stephenville, TX.
