DENTON, Texas (Feb. 18) – The Pioneers will close out their regular season road schedule on Thursday, Feb. 18 at Texas A&M-Kingsville.  Tip-off against the Javelinas is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. in Gil E. Steinke Physical Education Center.
 
TWU will play its final two regular season games at home including this Sunday, Feb. 21 against Angelo State.  The Pioneers will face the Rambelles at 2:00 p.m. in Kitty Magee Arena.

With three games remaining on their schedule, the Pioneers are gearing up for the Lone Star Conference Championship Tournament on Mar. 2-5 at the Allen Event Center.  The seeding will be determined during the final week of the season.  The Pioneers are currently in the fourth spot in the LSC standings.
 
TWU was also ranked fifth in the first NCAA Division II South Central Region poll announced on Wednesday.  The top eight teams in the final rankings on Mar. 6 will earn a berth to the NCAA Tournament.
