Senior forward Alexis Nezianya leads the team with averages of 12.0 points and 8.6 boards to rank ninth in the Lone Star Conference in scoring and third in rebounding, as well as being tops in field goal percentage at .525 and fifth in blocks per game with 1.3. Senior forward Grace Mitchell posts 9.2 points and 6.8 rebounds per contest, junior guard KJ Stastny averages 8.9 points, and junior guard Bri'anna Gray adds 7.9 points.

BARTLESVILLE, Okla. (Mar. 4, 2011) – Texas Woman's University senior guard Kayla Weaver recorded her seventh double-double of the season to lead the Pioneers to a 54-50 victory over #9 Northeastern State in the semifinals of the 2011 Lone Star Conference Basketball Championship on Friday night. With the win, TWU advances to tomorrow night's LSC tournament championship game for the second time school history.
Weaver led all players in the game with 18 points and 12 rebounds while TWU seniors Brooke Shepherd and Taja Guerin contributed 11 points each. Junior guard Jessica Hanna added four points and six rebounds to the Pioneers cause.
TWU held the RiverHawks to just 28.9 percent shooting including 20.0 percent in the first half. The victory was the second in a row for TWU over NSU. The Pioneers topped the RiverHawks 56-46 on Saturday, Feb. 19, in Denton.
