Jazmine Navarro set a Texas Woman's University soccer single game record with three assists in a 4-0 win over Southern Nazarene Thursday night at TWU Soccer Field.

The Pioneers (3-1-1) set season highs in shots (25), shots on goal (13), goals (4), assists (5), and points (13). The five team assists were the third most in program history, while the 13 points tied for the seventh-highest mark, and the four goals matched the eighth-best output since the inception of the program.

Senior
Chelsea Martin was the first to post a score for TWU on an assist from Navarro in the 19
th minute for a 1-0 Pioneer advantage. Six minutes later, Navarro and sophomore
Hannah Schneider assisted freshman
Haley Ward for the first goal of her TWU career. Within the next sixty-six seconds, Navarro teamed up with Ward to deliver as assist to Martin for a 3-0 Pioneer lead.

In the 75
th minute, Schneider traveled half the length of the field and booted her first career goal into the back of the net to put TWU up 4-0.

Freshmen
Maddie Vickroy and
Toni Worley combined for a shutout and four saves against the Crimson Storm (2-3).

Babak Abouzar stated, "It took the first 10-15 minutes for the team to settle down, but once we started to play our game we were able to create some opportunities that ended up being quality goals for us. Today's victory was a total team effort, as multiple people were creating quality chances, and that's good to see heading into our last nonconference game."
