CANYON, Texas (Sept. 22, 2017) - Texas Woman's University and West Texas A&M tied 1-1 following two overtime periods Friday Night on The Pitch to begin Lone Star Conference play.

TWU (3-2-2, 0-0-1 LSC) fired off 15 shots in the contest compared to 16 from WT (2-2-2, 0-0-1 LSC).
Maddie Vickroy grabbed a season-high nine saves for the Pioneers.

Bradford scored her first goal of the season on an assist by
Maddi Nolton in the 13
th minute for a 1-0 Pioneer lead.

The Lady Buffs tied the game on a goal by Mackenzie Taylor in the 42
nd minute.

Babak Abouzar said, "WT is a hard place to play. Our team played with a lot of tenacity tonight. We knew we needed the group to step up and they did. Lauren scored great goal and Maddie came through with a clutch save."
