WICHITA FALLS, Texas (Jan. 18, 2018) - Texas Woman's University cut a first half 24-point Midwestern State lead to 10 in the fourth quarter driven by 15 second-half points from
Bri'anna Gray, but the Pioneers dropped a 79-65 decision Thursday night inside D.L. Ligon Coliseum.
Gray scored a career-high 21 points and notched her first double-double with 10 rebounds for TWU (6-9, 3-6 LSC).
Whitney Apari tallied 10 points, while
Morgan Easley added a season-best nine. The Pioneers recorded a season-low 19-percent from beyond the arc on 3-of-16 shooting.
