LAWTON, Oklahoma (Feb. 21, 2019) — A game-high 23 points from
Macy Wilkerson led Texas Woman's to victory over Cameron on Thursday night.
The freshman drained six-straight free throws to help give the Pioneers a crucial road victory.
Ma'K'La Woods poured in a season-high 18 points on an efficient 8-of-10 shooting from the field while
Carissa Moody added 12 points, nine rebounds and four assists.
"We were efficient from the floor," Jillson added. "Shared the ball well and won the rebounding battle."
Additionally, the Pioneers were a perfect 13-of-13 from the charity stripe, a season-best for the team.
"Carissa's offensive put back and Macy's free throws down the stretch were huge," head coach
Beth Jillson said. "Allowing us to keep a two-possession lead."
"Ma'K'La paced us," Jillson said. "With a strong offensive presence inside."
Saturday, the Pioneers will play its final road game of the season when they visit MSU-Texas.
