DENTON, Texas – The Texas Woman's University women's basketball team (6-13, 4-11 Lone Star Conference) seeks to snap a four-game skid when it returns to the hardwood on Saturday, February 8, hosting the Midwestern State Mustangs (8-11, 6-9) with a 2 p.m. tip-off inside Kitty Magee Arena.

- "We had an incredible second half on Thursday night in front of a great crowd and we are looking to build on that moving into Saturday. We will need to put together 40 minutes of great team basketball to beat a tough Midwestern squad. I know everyone on this team is looking forward to getting back on the floor and picking up a win on our home court on Saturday."
THREE THINGS TO KNOW
- Thursday night's second-half surge was led by the play of Ngozi Obineke, who scored 16 of her 22 points in the final 20 minutes of play against Cameron.
- Junior Ma'K'La Woods has reached double figures in each of the last three games, dropping a season-best 24 points with seven rebounds at St. Mary's.
- Obineke, Woods, and London Archer all hit double figures in the loss to Cameron, with Archer pitching in 13 and Woods adding 11.
