DENTON, Texas (Nov. 25, 2022) – After a restful Thanksgiving holiday, the Texas Woman's basketball team will face Henderson State on Saturday, Nov. 26 in Kitty Magee Arena at 2 p.m.

TWU (4-1) recently defeated East Central and Southeastern Oklahoma State last weekend at the Ashbrook Classic hosted by Midwestern State. After going 2-0 on the weekend, the Pioneers were ranked for the first time in a national poll – the D2SIDA National Poll – at No. 23.

Henderson State (3-2) is currently on a three-game win streak, most recently defeating two Lone Star Conference opponents – Arkansas Fort Smith and UT Tyler.

Saturday will mark TWU's second home game of 2022. Henderson State played their first two games of the season on the road at a neutral sight, going 0-2. TWU will look to protect their home court and defeat Henderson State in their Thanksgiving weekend game.
