DENTON, Texas (Oct. 23, 2024) – After a historical season with numerous new records set, the Texas Woman's gymnastics team looks ahead to the 2025 season to create more history together.

"Our 2025 schedule is once again jam-packed with highly ranked opponents from across the nation," TWU Head Coach Lisa Bowerman said. "We are excited to have the opportunity to compete head-to-head with past Regional and National qualifying teams as we forge our path to being the first TWU Gymnastics team to qualify for NCAA Regionals."

The Pioneers will showcase their 2025 team in their annual Holiday Spectacular intrasquad scrimmage on Sunday, Dec. 8. This event will be free in Kitty Magee Arena and give fans the opportunity to meet the 2025 Pioneers.

TWU officially starts their 2025 season at home in KMA on Sunday, Jan. 12 at 2 p.m. against Midwest Independent Conference opponent Centenary.

After their season and home opener, the Pioneers will continue their home stand on Friday, Jan. 17 at 7 p.m. TWU will welcome MIC opponent Southeast Missouri State and West Chester to KMA.

Following their tri-meet, TWU will go on the road for their first away meet at Arkansas. TWU will compete in a tri-meet hosted by Arkansas against the Razorbacks and Denver.

TWU will return home for a dual meet against Air Force on Sunday, Feb. 2 at 2 p.m. Then, they will go on the road on Friday, Feb. 7 to meet Arizona State for a dual meet in Tempe, Ariz.

After traveling to Arizona, the Pioneers will compete in the Metroplex Challenge in Fort Worth, Texas against California and Utah State on Friday, Feb. 14.

TWU will head to Denver, Colo. for a quad meet at Denver against Denver, Oregon State and Ball State on Sunday, Feb. 16.

The Pioneers will remain on the road for their next two meets. They will compete at Centenary on Saturday, Feb. 22. Then, TWU will meet Clemson and New Hampshire for a tri-meet hosted by Clemson on Friday, Feb. 28.

After their long road trip, TWU will return home to celebrate senior day on Sunday, March 9 against NC State.

TWU will close their regular season on the road at a quad meet hosted by Nebraska, which will feature Iowa State, Temple and the Cornhuskers, on Saturday, March 15.

The postseason will begin with the MIC Championships, which will take place on Friday, March 21.
