DENTON, Texas (Oct. 26, 2024) - The Texas Woman's soccer team secured a key conference win at home on Saturday against Texas Permian Basin. Dani Pruitt led the Pioneers to victory after a second half goal from the sophomore forward to earn her first goal this season and second career goal.
TWU (8-3-3, 4-2-3) got back to their core and led the attack to start the game versus UTPB (4-6-3, 2-5-2) and displayed a well-rounded bounce back game. Texas Woman's led the way in shot attempts with a 10-7 advantage and 5-1 in corner kicks as Amanda Farris secured three saves on seven Falcon shots.Â

Early game saves by Farris and the second half momentum change in favor of TWU led to the 1-0 home victory to improve their conference record to four wins.
