RING IN 2025 WITH A DUB
  • PAINT IT MAROON: In their last game against SRSU, the Pioneers dominated the scoring in the paint – recording a season-high 62 paint points to SRSU's 24 points in the paint. The Pioneers thrive when they are getting paint touches and working to score using high percentage shots close to the basket. Paint buckets will be key in both games this weekend.
  • STRONG START: Most recently, against the Lobos, the Pioneers scored 33 points in the first quarter – their most points scored in a quarter since scoring a program high 35 points in a quarter on Jan. 5, 2023. In their most recent game, Cameron and OC met each other, and OC held Cameron to just two points in the opening quarter of action, while they scored 16 points. It will be key to start both games strong.
  • DEFENSE IS KEY: The Pioneers currently hold opponents to just 52.8 points per game, which ranks second in the LSC. Additionally, they beat opponents by an average of 15.4 points per game, which also ranks second in the LSC. On average, OC scores 69.6 per game, which ranks third in the LSC, and Cameron scores 60.4 points per game, which ranks 14th in the LSC.
