DALLAS (Nov. 23, 2025) – Texas Woman's saw their historic season end Sunday with a 1-0 loss to No. 1 DBU in the second round of the NCAA Division II Women's Soccer Championship at Patriot Soccer Field. Two days after earning the program's first NCAA Tournament win, the Pioneers held the top-seeded Patriots scoreless through the first half before DBU (19-1,12-1) broke through in the 58th minute with a goal to close out TWU.
TWU (16-4-3, 9-2-3) created seven shots and two corners but could not find an equalizer against DBU goalkeeper Leslie Miller, who made one save. Goalkeeper Faith Graves recorded three saves of her own, anchoring a back line that limited the Patriots to three first half attempts before facing a stronger DBU push over the final 45 minutes.
The loss ends a record-setting campaign for the Pioneers, who set a new single-season wins mark with 16 and advanced to the NCAA round of 32 for the first time in program history.
