ODESSA, Texas (Feb. 21, 2025) – The Texas Woman's basketball team travels to UT Permian Basin for their final road game of the regular season on Saturday, Feb. 22.
TWU (26-1, 19-1) will meet UTPB (13-13, 11-9) for the only time this season.
Last night, the Pioneers claimed their 20th straight win, defeating Angelo State by 18 points, 69-51. The Falcons met No. 6 UT Tyler at home and fell by just seven points, 62-55.
The Pioneers will tip-off at UTPB at 1 p.m. on Saturday afternoon.

TRIPLE THREAT
- HISTORY: The Pioneers are 10-4 all-time against the Falcons. In the 2023-24 regular season, TWU fell to UTPB in Kitty Magee Arena, 51-47. Then, the Pioneers responded and defeated the Falcons in the Lone Star Conference Championship Game to claim the LSC Title, 70-60. On the road, the Pioneers are 5-2 against the Falcons, and they are 9-3 in conference action.
- A LOOK AT THE FALCONS: UTPB currently averages eight three point field goals made per game, which ranks second in the LSC. They also average 68.5 points per game, which ranks third in the LSC. The Falcons rank fourth in the LSC in team offensive rebounds with 13.1 per game. On average, they shoot 39.5% from the field. UTPB also turns the ball over 14.8 times per game.
- DISHING OUT DIMES: The Pioneers rank first in the LSC in assists with 15.59 per game. Additionally, they rank second in assist to turnover ratio at 1.13. TWU has had five games with 20 or more assists and 16 games with 15 or more assists.
