DENTON, Texas (March 10, 2025) – The Texas Woman's University softball team faced a tough challenge at home, dropping both games of a doubleheader to Eastern New Mexico. TWU (12-8, 8-8) fell to the ENMU (16-10, 9-7), extending their conference loss total to eight on the season.
In the first game, TWU struggled to get things going offensively, falling 6-0 in a shutout loss. Despite two solid wins in their previous series against Western New Mexico, the Pioneers were unable to find their rhythm against ENMU.
In game two, TWU struck first, taking a 1-0 lead in the second inning. Riley Todd stole second base, setting up Brynlie Dunkin, who earned an RBI groundout to score Todd. However, the Greyhounds responded, scoring six unanswered runs to claim a 6-1 victory.
