FROM HEAD COACH BABAK ABOUZAR
"Very proud of our group," Abouzar said. "St. Mary's is a good team, and we were able to limit what they like to do while sticking to our own style of play. We scored some really quality goals tonight. Giselle gave us momentum with a great finish and followed it up by capitalizing on a rocket from Bella. Celeste delivered a perfect ball on a corner, and Erica rose above everyone to put it away. Amanda came up with some big saves to preserve the shutout.
We give a lot of credit to the players who get regular minutes, but our depth is what makes this team special. We wouldn't be where we are without every single player buying into their role and pushing each other to get better every day."
