DENTON, Texas (Sept. 27, 2025) – Texas Woman's Soccer remained unbeaten on the season after storming back from a two goal deficit to earn a 2-2 draw against Midwestern State on Alumni Night at Pioneer Soccer Park. The Pioneers moved to 7-0-1 overall and 3-0-1 in Lone Star Conference play, while the Mustangs (2-1-4, 2-0-2) also stayed unbeaten in conference action with the result.

The draw marks the seventh all-time tie between the two programs and mirrors last year's 2-2 result at Pioneer Soccer Park.

FROM HEAD COACH BABAK ABOUZAR
"Tonight's game against Midwestern was a tale of two halves. We came out with no sense of urgency and they capitalized on it. The second half was the total opposite. We came out and created some great opportunities and scored two really good goals. I have to give our team a lot of credit for their resiliency. We bent but we didn't break. Proud of our response."
