FROM HEAD COACH BABAK ABOUZAR
"Proud of how our team competed and played today. It says a lot about our team when our players are disappointed we tied the #1 team in the country. We all felt we played well enough to get the 3 points but with that being said we played our most complete game of the season. We defended well, attacked well and kept our composure throughout the game. Couldn't have asked for more. We'll recover and get ready for a good UTD game at home Saturday."

NEXT UP
The Pioneers will return to Denton on Saturday, Oct. 17, to host UT Dallas at 6 p.m. at Pioneer Soccer Park for SAAC Night.
