DENTON, Texas (Nov. 4, 2026) – The Texas Woman's volleyball team returns to Kitty Magee Arena this weekend to close out the 2026 regular season with a pair of Lone Star Conference matchups against UT Tyler and UT Dallas.

The Pioneers (10-15, 7-8 LSC) will face UT Tyler (21-4, 12-3 LSC) on Friday, Nov. 6, at 6 p.m., before hosting UT Dallas (14-10, 10-5 LSC) on Saturday, Nov. 7, at 2 p.m. for Senior Day.

TWU enters its final regular-season weekend riding a three-match winning streak following victories over Midwestern State, Cameron and Oklahoma Christian.

The Pioneers completed a perfect 2-0 road trip through Oklahoma, defeating Cameron in four sets on Friday, Oct. 30. TWU followed with a 3-0 sweep of Oklahoma Christian (25-17, 25-16, 25-19) on Saturday, Oct. 31.

Against Oklahoma Christian TWU delivered one of its most efficient offensive performances of the season, recording 38 kills while hitting .312 as a team. 

The Pioneers continued to showcase the strong defensive play that has defined their season.

TWU limited the Eagles to a .075 hitting percentage.

Both matches will be streamed live on FloCollege, with live statistics available through StatBroadcast.

Through 25 matches, TWU has recorded 1,169 kills and 1,080 assists while hitting .177 as a team. The Pioneers average 12.4 kills and 11.5 assists per set.

At the service line, TWU has totaled 124 aces and averages 1.3 per set.

Defensively, the Pioneers have collected 1,603 digs and 203 total blocks. TWU has also held opponents to a .184 hitting percentage while allowing 12.0 kills per set.

UT Tyler enters Friday's matchup with a 21-4 overall record and a 12-3 mark in conference play.

The Patriots have recorded 1,159 kills and 1,079 assists while hitting .245 as a team. 

UT Tyler averages 13.0 kills and 12.1 assists per set.

At the service line, Tyler has totaled 162 aces and averages 1.8 per set.

Defensively, the Patriots have collected 1,328 digs and average 14.9 digs per set. UT Tyler has also recorded 216 total blocks and averages 2.4 blocks per set.

The Patriots have held opponents to a .128 hitting percentage while allowing 10.8 kills per set.

UT Dallas enters the weekend with a 14-10 overall record and a 10-5 mark in LSC play.

The Comets have recorded 1,125 kills and 1,026 assists while hitting .197 as a team. UT Dallas averages 12.9 kills and 11.8 assists per set.

At the service line, UT Dallas has totaled 136 aces and averages 1.6 per set.

Defensively, the Comets have collected 1,416 digs and average 16.3 digs per set. UT Dallas has also recorded 154 total blocks and averages 1.8 blocks per set.

The Comets have allowed opponents to hit .186 while surrendering 12.2 kills per set.

Saturday's matchup against UT Dallas will also serve as Senior Day.

In the LSC rankings, TWU ranks third in blocks per set (2.16) and digs per set (17.05), while ranking sixth in opponent hitting percentage (.184). The Pioneers also rank ninth in kills per set (12.44) and assists per set (11.49).

UT Tyler ranks first in blocks per set (2.43) and opponent hitting percentage (.128), while ranking third in hitting percentage (.245) and points per set (17.27). The Patriots also rank fifth in service aces per set (1.82) and seventh in kills per set (13.02) and assists per set (12.12).

UT Dallas ranks fifth in digs per set (16.28) and seventh in points per set (16.26), while ranking eighth in kills per set (12.93) and assists per set (11.79). The Comets also rank 10th in hitting percentage (.197), blocks per set (1.77) and service aces per set (1.56).
