DENTON, Texas (Feb. 11, 2026) – The Texas Woman's basketball team continues their home stand this week with two Lone Star Conference games.
No. 2 TWU will meet Oklahoma Christian (9-12, 5-9) on Thursday, Feb. 12 at 6 p.m. Then, they will face Cameron (2-20, 2-12) on Saturday, Feb. 14 at 2 p.m.
The Pioneers are currently 20-1, 14-0 in conference action and 9-1 at home. TWU has not lost since Nov. 8 against then No. 25 Harding.
Last week, TWU faced UT Tyler and then-No. 20 Lubbock Christian. Against UT Tyler, the Pioneers claimed the win 63-51. Then, they followed it up on with a 67-53 win over LCU on Saturday.
OC faced Eastern New Mexico and then-No. 7 West Texas A&M. The Eagles picked up a big win over ENMU, 66-55, but they fell to WT, 82-67. Cameron faced the same two opponents, falling in both contests, 75-59 to WT and 76-47 to ENMU.

- On Thursday, the Pioneers will be celebrating Faculty and Staff Appreciation, as they honor those Faculty and Staff members who have made a positive impact on them. Additionally, Thursday will be TWU's annual Play4Kay game to honor Breast Cancer Awareness. Make sure to wear pink to the game.
- On Saturday, TWU will host Alumni Day, as they welcome the legendary Pioneers back to campus.
TIP-OFF TIME
- HISTORY: TWU is 10-2 all-time against OC. They have won the last eight meetings against the Lady Eagles. The Pioneers are 5-1 at home and 7-1 in conference action. The two teams last met on Jan. 30, 2025, and the Pioneers claimed the win, 82-39. TWU is 39-24 all-time against Cameron. The Pioneers have won the last five meetings against the Aggies. TWU is 17-11 at home against Cameron and 25-13 in conference action. The two teams last met on Feb. 1, 2025 with the Pioneers claiming the win, 90-38 – marking TWU's largest margin of victory since 1989.
- A LOOK AT THE LADY EAGLES: Most recently, OC claimed their ninth victory of the season, defeating ENMU, 66-55. In the win, the Lady Eagles outscored the Greyhounds in all but one quarter. They also topped the leader board in points in the paint, 44-34, and bench points, 18-13. The Lady Eagles also narrowly out-rebounded the Greyhounds, 40-34. Turnovers was an issue for both teams, as the Lady Eagles committed 26 turnovers and the Greyhounds gave up 24. OC did shoot 48.1% from the field and 40% from the three, as they held ENMU to shooting just 15.8% from beyond the arc.
- A LOOK AT THE AGGIES: Cameron has two wins on the season, against Western New Mexico and Sul Ross State. The Aggies are averaging 58.3 points per game, being outscored by 16.9 points on average. They are averaging 35.2% from the field, 30.3% from the three and 60% from the free throw line. Cameron is getting out-rebounded by 7.1 board per game, and they are averaging 19 turnovers per contest for 19.8 points for their opponents.
