DENTON, Texas (March 25, 2026) - For the fourth straight year, Texas Woman's basketball has been recognized with multiple selections to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Team.
Jada Celsur, Gabby Elliott, Kayla Glover and Averee Kleinhans were each named to the 2026 CSC Academic All-District Team.
To be eligible for an All-District nomination, student-athletes must be at least a sophomore academically, maintain a minimum 3.50 grade-point average and compete in at least 90% of their team's contests. Following the All-District selection, a committee identifies student-athletes who perform at an elite level both in the classroom and in competition to advance to the Academic All-America ballot.
The 2025-26 CSC Academic All-District Women's Basketball Teams recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America program separately honors women's basketball student-athletes in four divisions: NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.
Academic All-District honorees advance to the CSC Academic All-America ballot, where finalists are selected by CSC members. First-, second- and third-team Academic All-America honorees will be announced April 15, 2026.
Celsur, a senior from Martin Mills, Texas, is majoring in kinesiology. She earned All-LSC Second Team honors and was named to both the LSC All-Tournament Team and the NCAA South Central Region All-Tournament Team this season.
Elliott, a senior from San Antonio, Texas, is also majoring in kinesiology. She earned Division II Conference Commissioners Association (D2CCA) All-South Central Region honors and was named a Third Team All-American. She also received Women's Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA) All-America Honorable Mention recognition. Elliott was named the 2025-26 LSC Player of the Year and Defensive Player of the Year, becoming just the second Pioneer in program history to earn Player of the Year honors and the first to sweep the conference's three major individual awards in the same season. She was also named LSC Academic Player of the Year, earned First Team All-LSC honors and was selected to the LSC All-Defensive Team.
Kleinhans, a senior from Nocona, Texas, is majoring in dietetics - nutrition. She was named to the All-LSC First Team and the NCAA South Central Region All-Tournament Team. Kleinhans also earned WBCA All-America Honorable Mention honors and was selected to the D2CCA All-South Central Region Second Team.
Glover, a graduate student from DeSoto, Texas, is majoring in sports management. She earned her first career All-LSC honor this season with Honorable Mention recognition.
This marks the second consecutive year Kleinhans has been named a CSC Academic All-District honoree and the first career honors for Celsur, Elliott and Glover.
"I am so proud of our team's commitment to success on the court and in the classroom," head coach Beth Jillson said. "They are incredible students who achieve at a high level academically, and I know they will continue to accomplish great things."
