Against TAMUK, TWU claimed its 10th consecutive win, even with a season-low 34% shooting from the field. TWU led 31-14 at halftime, and the Javelinas brought it closer in the second half, but the Pioneers held on for a 57-43 victory.

UT Permian Basin has lost its last three games against top-five LSC teams. UTPB holds a 15-13 overall record and 10-10 record in conference play.
