RICHARDSON, Texas (Aug. 18, 2026) - Texas Woman's STUNT program continues to set the standard in the classroom, earning their third consecutive Lone Star Conference Academic Champion title for the 2025-26 academic year.
The Pioneers posted a 3.324 team GPA to finish with the highest mark among LSC STUNT programs, adding another academic accomplishment to a program that continues to excel both on the mat and in the classroom.
The three-peat marks another milestone for the Pioneers, who have claimed the LSC STUNT Academic Champion title in each of the last three academic years.
"I'm very impressed with the team," said TWU STUNT Head Coach Leslie Allen. "Our team set the bar high both on the mat and in the classroom. We are committed to excellence, and this accomplishment is a true reflection of the dedication and hard work our student-athletes put into everything they do."
TWU STUNT was also one of eight LSC sports in which every competing team recorded a 3.00 or better GPA during the 2025-26 academic year.
The LSC Sport Academic Champions are determined through a conference-wide comparison of team GPAs in each LSC-sponsored sport. The institution with the highest team GPA in each sport is named the Sport Academic Champion.
For TWU STUNT, the achievement represents more than three consecutive academic titles. It reflects a program-wide commitment to pursuing excellence in every area and preparing student-athletes to succeed both in competition and beyond the mat.
