DENTON, Texas (Aug. 28, 2026) – It's volleyball and soccer season in Denton, Texas! 

On Saturday, Sept. 5, TWU Soccer will host its home opener against Colorado Mesa at 11 a.m.

TWU Volleyball will host their home opener on Thursday, Sept. 3 at 6 p.m., as a part of their weekend tournament, the 2026 Marriott Inn & Suites Corinth - Denton Volleyfest.

With the home openers nearing, TWU has officially made volleyball and soccer home event tickets available for purchase. All tickets can be purchased at twuathletics.com/tickets.

Tickets for TWU Athletic events can only be purchased online. No cash will be accepted at the door for tickets.

General Admission for regular season events is $10 and youth/senior/student tickets are $8. Children five years old and younger do not require a ticket.

TWU Students receive two tickets to all TWU Athletic home events, using an All-Sports Pass. Additionally, all TWU faculty and staff receive four free tickets to all TWU Athletic home events, so as to enjoy the game with their family. The faculty and staff tickets will also be accessible through the All-Sports Pass. TWU All-Sports Passes can be accessed here by entering your nine digit student, faculty or staff ID number as the passcode to redeem the pass. The All-Sports Pass will permit entrance into all TWU home athletic events.

For the Denton Volleyfest, tickets will be sold as day passes. Individual day passes for Friday and Saturday will be sold separately for $15 each or a two-day pass for Friday and Saturday can be purchased for $25. Youth/Senior/Student tickets for each day can be purchased for $12, and a weekend pass can be purchased for $20. 

Please remember TWU has a Clear Bag Policy at all athletic venues.

With a goal to provide a safe environment for our fans, employees, and all those in attendance at TWU Pioneer Athletic events, Texas Woman's Athletics has guidelines limiting the size and type of bag allowed into all of our indoor and outdoor venues during home athletic events.

Fans are permitted to enter the venues with only the following style and size of bag: bags or backpacks that are clear and do not exceed 12" x 6" x 12", one gallon clear plastic freezer bag, or small clutch bags, with or without a handle or strap, no larger than 4.5" x 6.5".

Additionally, at TWU venues, no outside food or drink is allowed. No pets or ESA animals are allowed, only certified service animals will be allowed in the venue.
