DENTON, Texas (July 27, 2026) - Texas Woman's soccer has announced their 2026 regular season schedule, highlighted by a season-opening trip to Hawaii and another competitive Lone Star Conference slate. Head Coach Babak Abouzar and the Pioneers look to build on the most successful season in program history after recording a program-record 16 victories and advancing to the NCAA Division II Round of 32 for the first time in 2025.

"We're excited about this competitive schedule," Abouzar said. "We open in Hawaii, which is a first for us, playing two quality opponents. We have SNU on the road, which is always a challenge, and we get to play Colorado Mesa again after facing them in the postseason last year. The LSC is getting better every year, so we'll have our hands full with another tough conference schedule. We're excited and looking forward to the task at hand."

The Pioneers open the season with a historic trip to Honolulu, Hawaii, where they will face Chaminade on Thursday, Aug. 27, before taking on Hawaii Pacific on Sunday, Aug. 30. The trip marks the first time in program history that TWU will open a season in Hawaii.

Texas Woman's concludes nonconference play with a road match at Southern Nazarene on Wednesday, Sept. 2, before returning to Pioneer Soccer Park for their home opener against Colorado Mesa on Saturday, Sept. 5. The Pioneers eliminated the Mavericks in the NCAA Division II South Central Regional last season, setting up an early rematch in Denton.

TWU opens their conference schedule at home against Oklahoma Christian on Wednesday, Sept. 9, before hitting the road again to face St. Edward's on Saturday, Sept. 12 and West Texas A&M on Wednesday, Sept. 16. The Pioneers then return home for consecutive conference matches against Sul Ross State on Sept. 19 and St. Mary's on Sept. 23.

Following a road contest at Midwestern State on Sept. 26 and a trip to Eastern New Mexico on Sept. 30, TWU opens October with back-to-back home matches against UT Tyler on Oct. 3 and UT Permian Basin on Oct. 7.

The Pioneers continue conference action with road matches at Texas A&M International on Oct. 10 and DBU on Oct. 14 before returning to Denton to host UT Dallas on Oct. 17 and Lubbock Christian on Oct. 21.

TWU closes the regular season on the road against Angelo State on Tuesday, Oct. 27, before turning their attention to the Lone Star Conference Championship.

The Lone Star Conference Tournament is scheduled to begin Friday, Oct. 30, as the Pioneers pursue their fourth consecutive conference tournament appearance.
