DALLAS (Nov. 4, 2026) - Following a standout regular season on the pitch, eight members of the Texas Woman's soccer team were recognized with Lone Star Conference postseason honors on Wednesday night at the LSC Championship reception in Dallas.
Headlining the awards for TWU were junior goalkeeper Faith Graves and freshman midfielder Lauren Wade, who both earned individual position player of the year honors. Graves was voted the LSC Goalkeeper of the Year, becoming the fourth goalkeeper in program history to win the award and the first since 2018. Wade was named the LSC Midfielder of the Year, marking the first time in program history a Pioneer has captured the league's top midfielder honor.
Both Graves and Wade were named to the All-LSC First Team. Graves finished the regular season leading the conference with a .909 save percentage and a 0.17 goals-against average, tallying 12 solo shutouts. Wade anchored the midfield during a dominant rookie campaign, which also earned her a spot on the All-Freshman Team.
"It's an incredible honor to see so many of our athletes recognized tonight across the board," Head Coach Babak Abouzar said. "Faith has been a steady presence in net all year and her performance reflects her work ethic and leadership. Lauren coming in as a freshman and taking Midfielder of the Year speaks to her talent and the immediate impact she made on our team. Every player receiving an award tonight would echo that these are collective achievements made possible by the commitment of their teammates."
Joining Graves and Wade in the postseason honors, senior defender Rylee Avery, graduate defender Alexandra Hughes, and freshman defender Mardie Frye were all selected to the Second Team. Frye was also named to the All-Freshman Team for her standout debut campaign. Freshman midfielder Landree Cooper and senior forward Giselle Gutierrez earned Third Team selections. Gutierrez earned her second consecutive All-LSC selection following a First Team nod in 2025.
The Pioneers compiled a 15-1-3 overall record and 11-1-2 LSC record during the regular season, ascending to top rankings nationally..
Texas Woman's now turns their focus toward the NCAA Division II Tournament selection show, waiting to see their draw as they look to build on their remarkable season.
