DENTON, Texas (Mar. 6) – The TWU basketball team defeated Tarleton State, 70-62, on Thursday, Mar. 5 to advance to the 2015 LSC Championship Tournament semifinals.  The Pioneers will face the tournament's top-seed, West Texas A&M, at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, Mar. 6, at the Allen Event Center in Allen, TX.

The winner between TWU and WT will advance to the tournament championship game scheduled for 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, Mar. 7 at the AEC. The 2015 LSC Tournament Champion will receive an automatic bid into the NCAA Division II South Central Region Tournament.

The TWU Division of Student Life is sponsoring a free fan bus to Allen for Friday's semfinal matchup vs. nationally-ranked Lady Buffs. This bus will load at 3:15 p.m. in the Pioneer Hall parking lot and depart at approximately 3:30 p.m. All bus riders will receive a free ticket to the TWU/WTAMU game, a free 4 Express Tenders meal from Chicken Express Denton, a free TWU Pioneers t-shirt, and free TWU spirit poms.
