DENTON, Texas (Apr. 2) – The TWU softball team will host a four-game Lone Star Conference series against #25 Cameron on April 2-3 at Pioneer Field.  TWU and CU will play a doubleheader on Thursday, Apr. 2, at 5:00 and 7:00 p.m. before wrapping up the series with a doubleheader on Good Friday, Apr. 3, at 1:00 and 3:00 p.m.

Friday's twin bill will be the feature event of Good Friday Fest. All spectators that come out to watch the doubleheader between TWU and CU will receive free jelly beans. During the softball games, fans can participate in an Easter coloring contest and hop like the Easter Bunny on the hopscotch course set-up in the Pioneer Field promotions area. Immediately following the second game of the doubleheader (at approximately 6 p.m.), children in fifth grade and below can participate in a free Easter egg hunt on the Pioneer Field outfield.
