DENTON, Texas (Jan. 27) – The TWU softball team will open its season in The Sunshine State at the Florida Tech/Marriott Kickoff Classic on Jan. 28-30. The tournament will be played at Florida Tech in Melbourne, FL, and at Eastern Florida State College in Palm Bay, FL.
The Pioneers will face the host Florida Tech in the opener on Friday, Jan. 29 at 9:00 a.m. (CST) before taking on Lynn at 11:30 a.m. On Saturday, Jan. 30, TWU will play Flagler at 4:30 p.m. (CST) and Palm Beach Atlantic at 7:00 p.m. (CST). The Pioneers will wrap-up with their second meeting against Florida Tech on Sunday, Jan. 30 at 4:30 p.m. (CST).
TWU's Friday games will be played at Florida Tech while Saturday and Sunday games will be at Eastern Florida State College.
