DENTON, Texas (May 3)
– The TWU softball team will head south to the Alamo City to compete in the 2015 NCAA South Central Regional Tournament on May 5-7. The double-elimination tournament will be held at the Softball Stadium inside The Park at St. Mary's in San Antonio, TX.
The number-three seeded Pioneers will face the number-six seed Lubbock Christian in game-one on Thursday, May 5 at 1:30 p.m. The host and the number-two seed St. Mary's will take on the number-seven seed Angelo State in the second game at 4:00 p.m.
The winners of Thursday's games will face each other on Friday, May 6 at 12:00 p.m. for the right to advance to the Saturday's final while losers of Thursday's games will face off in an elimination game at 2:30 p.m. The final game on Saturday will feature the loser of 12:00 p.m. game versus the winner of 2:30 p.m. game. The winner will advance to the Saturday's final while the loser will be eliminated.
The championship game on Saturday, May 7 is scheduled for 1:00 p.m. and if necessary game is scheduled for 3:30 p.m.
