The Pioneers are looking to snap a two-game skid that occurred last weekend at then-No. 13 Tarleton State and then-No. 22 Angelo State. Sophomore setter Katy Ranes leads the Lone Star Conference in assists per set (10.84), and senior middle blocker Haley Collins is number two in blocks/set (1.12). Sophomore defensive specialist Bailey French stands third in digs/set (4.91), while senior outside hitter Miri Shade is fourth in kills/set (3.28).

A&M-Commerce also suffered setbacks last weekend at TSU and ASU with a pair of losses. Jaslyn Wacker ranks third in the LSC in hitting percentage (.319) and fifth in blocks/set (1.08), while Shelley Chapron is fourth in blocks/set (1.11).

DENTON, Texas (Sept. 19, 2017) - Texas Woman's University volleyball registered its first sweep of a conference opponent and win streak in 2017 with a victory over Texas A&M-Commerce Tuesday night inside Kitty Magee Arena.
In the 3-0 win (25-17, 25-17, 25-23), Bailey French had a game and career-high 31 digs to tally the highest total in a three-set match in the LSC this year and the eighth-highest output in NCAA Division II. Briley Cole-Lewis notched a game-high 10 kills to go along with five blocks, Katy Ranes handed out a game-high 37 assists, and Haley Collins totaled the most blocks in the match with six.
