The Pioneers are riding a three-game win streak after wrapping up the North Texas Softball Bash with victories over Regis, Northwestern Oklahoma State and Oklahoma Panhandle State. Following the opening two weeks of the season,
Nicole Nordie is second within the Lone Star Conference in batting average (.545) and hits (18), third in on-base percentage (.625) and stolen bases (6), fourth in slugging percentage (.848) and fifth in RBI (11).
Abby Walker leads the league in batters struck out (46) and batters struck out looking (13), and is fourth in opposing batting average (.192).

The Lady Eagles have amassed an overall record of 6-4 after competing in the Southeastern Regional Invitational and the North Texas Softball Bash. OC, picked to finish third in the Heartland Conference, boasts three All-Heartland Preseason Team members in catcher Niki Davidson, second baseman Sheridan Bond and outfielder Haley Squier.
