DENTON, Texas (May 10, 2017) – Texas Woman's University enters the NCAA South Central Regional as the sixth seed and will face third seed St. Mary's Thursday at 4 p.m. at Schaeffer Park on the campus of two seed West Texas A&M in Canyon, Texas, in the double elimination tournament.

Hazel Puempel before dropping a 3-0 contest to the nation's number one team, Angelo State. The Pioneers rank 12

Nicole Nordie leads the LSC in hits (78) and batting average (.459), and is fourth in on-base percentage (.528).

th in the nation. Raynelle Nash earned HC Player of the Year honors and leads the league in hits (70) and ranks second in batting average (.407) along with third in on-base percentage (.464). Pitcher Ashley Mills holds the best ERA in the Heartland (1.33) and opposing batting average (.156).
