About the Pioneers
The Pioneers are coming off a season-high score of 195.200 while performing 2018 team bests on vault, bars, and floor in a quad meet with No. 15 Auburn, NC State and Pitt Feb. 11. Seniors Schyler Jones and Mallory Moredock were recognized with Midwest Independent Conference weekly honors for their performances last Sunday as Jones received the Performance of the Week accolade and Moredock was named the Gymnast of the Week. The duo has each received a pair of awards in 2018.

The Tigers posted a season-high 197.450 while ranked No. 1 Jan. 19 versus Auburn. LSU holds a season-average of 197.267. Myia Hambrick earned her third SEC Gymnast of the Week Feb. 13 by earning four first-place finishes.

BATON ROUGE (Jan. 20, 2017) – Texas Woman's University gymnastics scored a team season-best 192.625 in a dual meet against No. 2 Louisiana State Friday in front of the fourth-largest crowd in program history inside the Maravich Center with more than 11,500 fans in attendance, as LSU took the team title with a score of 197.475.
Bria Northrop led TWU in the all-around competition by scoring 38.875 to set a career-high and taking second place, marking her third straight meet of improvement. Schyler Jones followed with an all-around score of 38.720 to set a season-high.
