DENTON, Texas (Feb. 25, 2018) - Texas Woman's University collected first place in all four events to score a 194.675 in a win over Bridgeport, Centenary and Southeast Missouri State Sunday afternoon inside Kitty Magee Arena.

The Pioneers donned throwback leotards in front of dozens of former Pioneer gymnasts.
Schyler Jones placed first on vault and floor while
Bria Northrop earned top honors on bars, and
Mallory Moredock notched first place on beam.

The Pioneers began on vault with
Erin Alderman scoring a 9.650 and
Morgan Colee a 9.700.
Megan Gentry tallied a 9.750 followed by a 9.775 from Moredock, a 9.750 by
Brandi Lazarus, and a first-place 9.800 from Jones for a team total 48.775.

Abbie Versemann led off for TWU on bars with a 9.645, and Lazarus totaled a 9.650. Colee notched a 9.550,
Hunter Vincent earned a 9.800, and
Alyssa Kelly had a 9.825. Northrop tied her career-high with a 9.875 for first place to give the Pioneers a score of 48.775.

Madison Dickson registered a career-high on beam with a 9.775 for TWU. Alderman recorded a 9.275 as did Northrop, and Kelly scored a 9.375. Moredock matched her career-best to earn top honors with a 9.875 before Jones anchored with a 9.850 to give the Pioneers a 48.250.

Heading into the final rotation, TWU trailed Bridgeport by the narrow margin of .150. Versemann started off the Pioneers on floor with a 9.700, and
Bridgette Peterson was next with a 9.125. Colee scored a career-high 9.725, Alderman recorded a 9.800, and Moredock tallied a 9.775. Jones captured a 9.875 for the event title to help TWU to a 48.875 and the team victory.

Lisa Bowerman said, "I was very proud of the team today for continuing to build on our performance from the last two weeks. Even when mistakes were made, we continued to compete with confidence. This has been a big focus for us the past couple of weeks and it is great to see us growing stronger in this aspect.
