Texas Woman's (10-6, 3-3 LSC) vs. Oklahoma Christian (12-11, 4-4 Heartland)
Wednesday, March 7 at 4 p.m. (DH)
Denton, Texas (Pioneer Field)

About the Pioneers
TWU picked up their first three Lone Star Conference wins in a 4-0 sweep at Western New Mexico last week. The Pioneers set high marks in game four with 24 hits and 22 RBI while matching programs bests with 22 runs and six home runs. Jordan Kisselburg tied the Pioneer and Lone Star Conference record with five hits in one contest.
The weather has played an unavoidable factor early on into TWU's season. The series versus West Texas A&M was ultimately canceled due to unplayable field conditions and the doubleheader scheduled against OC was originally scheduled for February 27.

About Oklahoma Christian
The Lady Eagles most recently won both games of a doubleheader against Heartland Conference foe St. Edward's Monday. Madison Nordyke leads OC with an average of .411 with 30 hits and has tallied 12 RBI. In the circle, Kaylie Upton has collected a 7-2 record, while Madison Hagood has a 3.02 ERA along with 44 strikeouts.

History between TWU and OC
Last season, the teams met on five occasions with the Pioneers taking a pair of wins. The series began in 2013 and now is tied at 6-6.

OKLAHOMA CITY (March 21, 2017) - Texas Woman's University split a pair of nonconference contests with Oklahoma Christian by taking a 6-1 victory over the Lady Eagles before falling 11-3 in five innings Tuesday at Tom Heath Field.
