About the Pioneers
TWU is coming off of a 1-1 split with Oklahoma Christian Wednesday and picked up their first three Lone Star Conference wins in a 4-0 sweep at Western New Mexico last week. The Pioneers set high marks in game four with 24 hits and 22 RBI while matching programs bests with 22 runs and six home runs. Jordan Kisselburg tied the Pioneer and Lone Star Conference record with five hits in one contest.

The Javelinas are on a 10-game win streak with sweeps over Texas A&M International, Midwestern State and St. Edward's.

The Pioneers lead the series 48-31-2 over the Javelinas dating to the 1997 season. Since 2012 TWU has tallied a record of 18-1-1 with the lone loss coming in 2016 in game two of the four-game series.

KINGSVILLE, Texas (March 13, 2017) - Nicole Nordie tallied three hits and a pair of RBI for Texas Woman's University in an 8-4 game one win over Texas A&M-Kingsville, and Abby Walker pitched a 2-0 shutout to give the Pioneers their second victory in the shortened series Monday afternoon at Vernie and Blanche Hubert Field to increase their win streak to seven games.
