DENTON, Texas (Aug. 23, 2018) - Texas Woman's University volleyball opens the 2018 season by hosting the SpringHill Suites Invitational and competing against Florida Tech, Northwood, Southwestern Oklahoma State, and St. Edward's Friday and Saturday inside Kitty Magee Arena.

About the Pioneers
TWU recorded an overall record of 16-18 last season in which the team advanced to the Lone Star Conference (LSC) championship match for the third time in program history and first since 1997. The Pioneers return sophomore setter
Katy Ranes, an All-LSC Second Teamer, as well as junior libero
Bailey French and junior middle blocker
Courtney Noel, both of who were recognized as Honorable Mention performers by the league. The Pioneer roster includes three other returners as well as nine newcomers.Â

LUBBOCK, Texas (Sept. 8. 2017) - Texas Woman's University played in its first five-set match of the 2017 season but fell just short to Southwestern Oklahoma State in the Chap Classic Friday inside the Rip Griffin Center.Â
Kerstin Jenkins notched a career and game-high 17 kills along with 15 digs for her career fourth double-double, but the Pioneers could not hold off SWOSU in five sets (23-25, 27-25, 25-21, 25-20, 13-15).
Bailey French tallied a career and game-high 26 digs, and
Erin Jones registered a career-best 16 for TWU.

AUSTIN, Texas (Sept. 6, 2013) – The Pioneer volleyball team opened its 2013 season Friday by winning twice in the Hilltopper-Rattler Classic in Austin, TX. The Pioneers defeated #23 Adams State, 21-25, 25-14, 25-21, 12-25, and 15-9 in their first game, then knocked off the host St. Edward's, 23-25, 25-19, 25-20, and 25-17.
In the game against St. Edward's, Kuechle picked up where she left off in the first game and added her second double-double of the day. She again led all players with 12 kills and added 11 digs on defense. Senior Chloe' Tate had 11 kills while senior Marcela Alves chipped in nine for TWU. Rivero also recorded her second double-double of the day with 20 assists and 14 digs.
