ST. CHARLES, Missouri (Feb. 17, 2019) — Texas Woman's finished its trip to Missouri on Sunday when they took on Lindenwood.
The Pioneers posted a team score of 193.850, improving on their score from two nights prior.
"I was very proud of our team for how they performed," head coach
Lisa Bowerman said. "Today was a great team effort."
Each event saw different Pioneers step up.
Hope Parkin led the way on Vault with a 9.775 while
Jenna Cashmore logged a 9.825 on Bars.
Hunter Vincent paced the squad on Beam with a 9.775 as
Erin Alderman posted a 9.825 on Floor.
"Even though we were disappointed to come up a little short of the win," Bowerman added. "Today was a great step for us in terms of our season."
Finishing first in the All-Around was
Bria Northrop as she posted a 38.950, logging 9.700 or better on all four events.
"Today gave us a great glimpse of what this team is capable of," Bowerman added. "I am excited to see them continue working toward reaching their full potential."
The Pioneers will host the Auburn Tigers on Sunday at 2 p.m. for the Breast Cancer Awareness Meet.
