RALEIGH, North Carolina (March 9, 2019) — Posting a 193.500 on Saturday, Texas Woman's finished fourth at the NC State Quad against NC State, Arizona and George Washington.

"The energy and competitiveness of our team continues to build and be a strength as we head into the end of the season," head coach Lisa Bowerman said.

On Vault, Hunter Vincent and Hope Parkin led the way by scoring 9.750 each. Vincent would also lead the Pioneers on Bars with a 9.725.

Erin Alderman once again led the Pioneers on Beam and Floor, posting team highs on each event. A week after posting a career-high on Beam, the senior logged a 9.750 while scoring a 9.850 on Floor.

Steady performances throughout from Bria Northrop produced a 38.925 in the All-Around to finish fifth overall. Her best score came on Floor when she tallied a 9.775.

With one meet remaining in the regular season, the Pioneers will look to finish the year strong at the Arkansas Quad Meet next week.

"This week we will be continuing to clean up the details on all four events and take advantage of being out of school for spring break," Bowerman added. "We can focus even more on our time in the gym and sharpening our edge as a team."
