BATON ROUGE, Louisiana (April 5, 2019) — "I am so proud of Erin (Alderman) for earning the opportunity to compete here today," head coach Lisa Bowerman said after Alderman competed on Beam at the NCAA Regionals on Friday.

The senior has produced her best season, producing steady performances on Beam and Floor throughout the season. After being named an alternate two years prior, Alderman earned her opportunity to showcase her abilities on the NCAA stage, posting a score of 9.475.

"Today was incredible," Alderman said. "I am so thankful to have had this experience and opportunity to represent TWU."

"She represented our team well, as we knew she would," Bowerman added. "I could not be more-happy for her to get this incredible experience in her senior year."

Next week, Alderman and the Pioneers will look to add a storybook ending to the 2019 season when they seek their third-straight USA Gymnastics Collegiate National Championship on Friday, April 12 in Bridgeport, Connecticut.
