DENTON, Texas – The Texas Woman's University gymnastics team returns to action on Friday, Feb. 7, squaring off against Centenary at the Gold Dome in
Shreveport, La. The competition is set for a 6 p.m. start.

COACH BOWERMAN SAYS

• "We have a great opportunity ahead of us tomorrow night in Shreveport.  We are really looking to capitalize on being back in a familiar arena and using all that we have learned thus far this season in order to put together a complete meet and to reach a new season high."

THREE THINGS TO KNOW

• TWU and Centenary faced off back on January 18, with the Pioneers taking a 190.425 to 182.900 win over the Ladies. The team score was a season high to that point – only to be eclipsed the next weekend with a 193.400 team score.
• Isabel Goyco picked up wins in the balance beam, floor exercise, and all-around, posting a season-high 38.85 score in the first meeting with Centenary.
• Bria Northrop won the all-around competition in the Pioneers' matchup with No. 16 Iowa State on Sunday.  The senior posted a 38.70 score in the first matchup with Centenary.
