MEET NOTES - TWU vs. LINDENWOOD vs. SOUTHEAST MISSOURI

DENTON, Texas - The Texas Woman's University gymnastics team will open its 2021 season on Saturday, January 16, hosting Lindenwood and Southeast Missouri in a tri-meet inside Kitty Magee Arena. The meet is set for a 6 p.m. start. No spectators will be allowed inside Kitty Magee Arena.

• Live video and statistics will be available at www.twuathletics.com. All TWU athletics streams have been moved to a pay-per-view model, with fans having the ability to purchase a 24-hour pass for $10 that will give them access to all TWU gymnastics streams available on the LSC Digital Network. 

THREE THINGS TO KNOW

• TWU's talented newcomers turned in impressive scores in the Pioneers' intrasquad competition, and particularly on the vault. Lexi Leake led the way with a 9.750, while Madeline Gose and Steelie King both hit 9.700. On the beam, transfer Alix Pierce scored a 9.775 while King added a 9.750.
• Isabel Goyco turned in her typical stellar performance on the floor, scoring a 9.825 to match her 2020 season average. 
• Senior Paige Stuyniski turned in her career-best performance on the bars in a quad last season against Lindenwood, scoring a 9.800.
