TWU MEET NOTES - METROPLEX CHALLENGE vs. OKLAHOMA/CENTENARY

DENTON, Texas - The Texas Woman's University gymnastics team will return to action on Saturday, February 13 at 7 p.m., traveling to Fort Worth to take part in the Metroplex Challenge, competing against Oklahoma and Centenary.

THREE THINGS TO KNOW

• DOWN TO THREE - The metroplex Challenge was originally scheduled to feature Iowa State, but the Cyclones paused all team activities earlier this week due to COVID-19 protocols. 
• THE GOOSE IS LOOSE - Freshman Madeline Gose continues to collect awards in her freshman season, this week being named Midwest Independent Conference Gymnast of the Week and Newcomer of the Week. The Gymnast of the Week award is Gose's first and the Newcomer of the Week award is her third.
• NEW CAREER HIGHS - Eight individual season or career highs were set in TWU's last meet against Centenary and Air Force.
