TWU vs. WTAMU GAME NOTES

DENTON, Texas
- The Texas Woman's University basketball team (3-6, 3-6 Lone Star Conference) returns to action this Monday and Tuesday, squaring off against nationally ninth-ranked West Texas A&M (12-1, 11-1) at the First United Bank Center in Canyon. Tip-off both days is scheduled for five p.m.

  • Live video and statistics are available at www.twuathletics.com. The Lone Star Conference has adopted a pay-per-view model for webstreaming this year, where fans will be able to purchase a $10 daily pass that will give them access to all football, volleyball, and basketball contests on the network for the day, as well as previously-aired games from the current season for a 24 hour period. Fans will have the option to purchase and download games from the 2020-21 season for $10 each.

  • JUST STAY HOME - Attendance at West Texas A&M home games is limited to those on pass lists. 
  • MA'K'ING HER WAY UP THE CAREER CHARTS - This past week against Texas A&M-Commerce, senior forward Ma'K'La Woods moved up to 687 career points, passing Mandi Mouser (1991-95) for 24th all-time at TWU. She now sits 15 points behind Debbie Adams (1979-81) for 23rd. 
  • CHASING 200 - Pioneers head coach Beth Jillson, in her 13th season at TWU, is the winningest coach in program history with 190 career wins - 116 ahead of the second-highest total. She sits 10 wins away from 200 for her career.
