MATCH NOTES - TWU vs. A&M-COMMERCE
DENTON, Texas - The postseason fate of the Texas Woman's University volleyball team hangs in the balance as the Pioneers (3-7, 3-7 Lone Star Conference) travel to Commerce, Texas for a two-match set with Texas A&M-Commerce (4-6, 4-6) this Tuesday and Wednesday at The Field House.Â

- Live video and statistics are available at www.twuathletics.com. The Lone Star Conference has adopted a pay-per-view model for webstreaming this year, where fans will be able to purchase a $10 daily pass that will give them access to all football, volleyball, and basketball contests on the network for the day, as well as previously-aired games from the current season for a 24 hour period. Fans will have the option to purchase and download games from the 2020-21 season for $10 each.
THREE THINGS TO KNOW
- THE IMPLICATIONS - The Pioneers' enter the weekend battling for a position in the LSC volleyball championship, needing to win at least one of the two matches this week in order to qualify. UT Tyler has clinched the top seed in the division and A&M-Commerce has clinched a berth, but the Pioneers, A&M-Commerce, and Dallas Baptist will all battle for position this week.Â
- IF THE PIONEERS SPLIT - A split for TWU and Texas A&M-Commerce would put the Lions in the No. 2 position and the Pioneers in the No. 3 position in the division entering the conference championship.Â
- IF TWU SWEEPS - Two wins for the Pioneers would give TWU the No. 2 seed and the Lions the No. 3 seed in the conference championship.Â
