THREE THINGS TO KNOW
- RANKED SUCCESS - The Pioneers have had some of their best luck in the past two seasons against top-25 opposition - last year the Pioneers opened the season with a win over defending national champion and then-No. 1 Augustana. TWU picked up another win over the Vikings this season with Augustana holding a No. 3 ranking.
- TUH-MAY-OH, TUH-MY-OH, WHATEVER, IT'S GONE - Junior Paige Tamayo has been one of the Pioneers' most prolific hitters over the course of her career and the pace she has set this season bears out that success. The junior belted her 15th career home run last time out and enters play today with a .382 career average.
- HOME COOKING - TWU will return to the friendly confines of Dianne Baker Field for its next two series next weekend, playing host to Cameron and Oklahoma Christian.
