DENTON, Texas (Oct. 17, 2022) - Texas Woman's (12-9, 3-6) volleyball weathered the storm against two of the Lone Star Conference's top opponents this past weekend. The Pioneers faced UT Tyler (14-7, 7-3) on Friday, Oct. 14, and Dallas Baptist (19-3, 10-1) on Saturday, Oct. 15.Â

After two tough losses on the road, the Pioneers are 1-4 this season in away games and are looking to improve their road record this Wednesday, Oct. 19 against the Midwestern State (4-18, 2-8) Mustangs. First serve is slated for 6 p.m. in the D.L. Ligon Coliseum in Wichita Falls, TX.Â

In their last meeting on Sep. 10, 2022, the Pioneers took three of four sets from the Mustangs in a 3-1 win during the LSC Crossover Tournament.Â

With a total of 11 blocks, the Pioneers held the Mustangs to a hitting percentage of .113.Â
