DENTON, Texas (October 21, 2022) - It's good to be back home in Kitty Magee Arena this Saturday, Oct. 22 at noon as Texas Woman's (12-11, 3-8) volleyball plays Western New Mexico (2-20, 0-10) in Lone Star Conference action.
The Pioneers are finally headed back home after a long three match stretch of being on the road. After receiving unfavorable results in their last four matches the Pioneers are pushing for a positive outcome this weekend in KMA.
The all-time series against Western New Mexico began on Sep. 9, 2000 where the Pioneers recorded their first loss to the Mustangs. Since then the Pioneers are now leading the all-time series 7-3.
Last season, the Pioneers swept the Mustangs in KMA and are looking to keep the tradition alive.
The Mustangs are currently 2-20 overall and 0-10 in the conference. They average 1.5 blocks per set, while their opponents average 2.3 blocks over them.
